Context

JouéClub was an e-commerce pioneer when it launched its first website in 1997, followed by a click & collect “Drive” service in late 2011. It was, however, high time JouéClub reviewed its strategy.
As a cooperative with 220 members and 300 stores, JouéClub was ready to launch a large-scale project. It already had an online selling platform dedicated entirely to home delivery, plus a separate platform for the Drive click & collect service which links to all 221 member websites.

Objectives

JouéClub is a retailer at heart and wanted a solution that combined the web and physical stores. The brand was aware of how important it is to provide a high level of customer service and wanted to offer a connected shopping basket. The brand was keen to move quickly, so it adopted the Proximis SAAS solution.

Results

Within 7 months, JouéClub launched a connected selling project with Proximis and SQLI, bringing together all retail sites for all shops on one single website.

The store options are highlighted on the homepage to make product availability as clear as possible from the outset.

“We want to save customers time by giving them as much information as possible about our products’ availability and delivery options,” states Aurélie Cayla, JouéClub’s digital marketing and e-commerce manager.

Like Amazon, JouéClub can now combine different delivery and collection methods in a single basket (both home delivery and 2-hour click & collect). This makes the shopping journey as smooth as possible. Customer identification takes place during checkout – the very end of the process – once the customer promise has been fulfilled.
